Arcellx (http://www.arcellx.com/) is a venture-backed, early-stage biotech company focused on the development of novel cell-based cancer therapies.  The company has a team of biotechnology professionals with expertise in biologics discovery, characterization, and development.  Lead products will incorporate proprietary technologies that enhance tumor-specific killing by genetically engineered human immune cells. Arcellx’s vision is to bring ARC-SparX cell therapies to millions of patients who can self-administer prescribed SparX proteins to treat their cancer under the care of academic and community practices.

Primary Objective:

The IT Site Lead supports business functions at multi-use sites through interaction with internal team members, peer, and higher level customers as well as external service providers.  The individual supports multiple IT projects/systems and ongoing work activities of moderate and high complexity.  The individual will answer questions and resolve IT issues for site, laboratory, manufacturing, and staff.

Reporting into the IT organization, the candidate will be primary responsible for supporting and managing the IT shared landscape across the site IT systems.  The candidate must have at least 8 years of overall Information Technology experience in a corporate environment.  The candidate needs to have an understanding of shop floor activities, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and process automation in addition to prior experience in IT Architecture and Infrastructure networks.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Own and manage the IT Architecture and IT Infrastructure including Network, Servers, Printers, Scanners, Firewall rules, Domains, etc.
  • Monitor, track, and reduce service incidents/requests to IT Infrastructure
  • Manage spares and inventory for IT Infrastructure
  • Support Disaster Recovery of local computerized systems and be the main POC during P1 and P2 tickets.
  • On Boarding and Off Boarding of Employees.

Requirements and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or MIS discipline
  • 8 years overall Information Technology experience in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure & O365 administration
  • Experience with supporting Zoom video conferencing
  • Laser-focused and strong delivery experience managing large, complex projects.
  • Has a strong working understanding of installed systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any problems on the existing system(s) supported and is aware of integration points with other systems.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with one or more technology environments, with the ability to learn and apply new and emerging concepts very quickly.
  • Professional written, verbal, & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively & work independently
  • Strong Delivery skills, ability to work in a complex environment and an ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills are a must
  • Knowledge of GMP, GXP, SDLC regulations, including 21CFR part 11 and Good Documentation Practices
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and laboratory systems and equipment that support Biologics and clinical manufacturing (GLP, GMP)
  • Participates in business idea elaboration and technical problem-solving
  • Track record working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment
  • Strong Listener: be able to patiently listen to understand the business needs
