Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2023

Arcellx, Inc. (collectively referred to herein as “Arcellx”, “us” or “we” and variants such as “our”) uses cookies on the www.arcellx.com website and its associated web pages (the “Site”). By using the Site, you understand the use of cookies and other Tracking Technologies as described herein and in our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Privacy Policy.

Our Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, how third parties we may partner with may use cookies or other Tracking Technologies on the Site, as well as your choices regarding Tracking Technologies, and how you can manage them.

Tracking Technologies may set, change, alter or modify settings or configurations on your Device. Some of the Tracking Technologies we use may include:

  • Cookies. Cookies are small files saved onto your computing device that save and retrieve information about you or your visit to arcellx.com—for example, how you entered our Site, how you navigated through the Site, and what information was of interest to you.
  • Flash Cookies. Certain features of our Site may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from, and on our Site. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies and you may not be able to shut down our collection of and use of information through this technology.
  • Web Beacons, Pixels and Tags. A Web Beacon is a small tag (which may be invisible to you) that may be placed on our Site’s pages and messages. Pages of our Site and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as Web Beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit Arcellx, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
  • Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Site, such as information about the links you click on.
  • ETag, or entity tag. An ETag, or entity tag, is a feature of the cache in browsers. It is an opaque identifier assigned by a web server to a specific version of a resource found at a URL. It is one of several mechanisms that HTTP provides for web cache validation. These allow websites to be more efficient and not serve content again, when data is already cached and ready to view.
  • Fingerprinting. Fingerprinting refers to the collection and analysis of information from your Device, such as your operating system, plug-ins, system fonts and other data, for purposes of identification.
  • Recognition Technologies. Recognition Technologies refers to various technology features used by websites, including application of statistical probability to data sets, which attempt to recognize or make assumptions about users and devices (e.g., that a user of multiple devices is the same user).
  • Log Files. These track actions occurring on our Site, and which help us collect your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, the webpages from which you came or to which you go before and after visiting our Site, and the date and time of your visits.

We use Tracking Technologies on our Site, and have categorized such Tracking Technologies to make it easier for you to understand them, as follows:

  1. Strictly necessary: These are used to help make our Site work efficiently, provide security features on our Site, and provide Services you’ve asked for.
  2. Performance/Analytics: These are used to analyze the way our Site works, and how we can improve it.
  3. Functionality: These help to enhance your experience by remembering choices you’ve made concerning the features of the Site (i.e. username, language, region you are in).
  4. Advertising/Targeting: These Tracking Technologies are used to deliver advertisements more relevant to you and your interests and to track information that Arcellx may use for marketing purposes.

If you choose not to enable cookies and other Tracking Technologies, you will still be able to browse our Site, but you may find some aspects of the Site may not operate as intended or at all.
